8th Maghreb & Mediterranean Oil & Gas Conference 2010

Our 8th Maghreb & Mediterranean Oil & Gas Conference 2010 scheduled in Marrakech (Morocco) brings together leading corporate players in and around North Africa, with Governments and state oil companies, active in exploration and development, oil and gas-LNG, and across the industry value chain, including oil/energy finance and hydrocarbon investment.
The numbers of energy companies positioned in the Mediterranean basins, onshore and offshore, and from Morocco to Tunisia, has greatly increased, domestic players have become more significant, foreign companies have expanded their investments, and Super-Majors to Independents have taken up acreage and assets inside one of the world's most prospective zones. Regular Bid Rounds in Algeria, Egypt and Libya and open acreage opportunities in Tunisia and Morocco, as well as elsewhere across the Sahel, together will new gas/LNG markets in Europe sourcing from North African gas fields and new ventures, have attracted increased interest from abroad, while domestic oil/gas pipeline investments continue to expand. Here too Egypt has emerged as a major corporate centre for oil and notably gas companies, with rising gas reserves, increased gas/LNG production and exports, plus a promising future as a key hydrocarbon hub for the region.
Following our highly successful North African Conferences held earlier since 2003 in Marrakech (Morocco) and Tunis (Tunisia), Global Pacific & Partners Maghreb Conference continues the tradition of being the landmark senior management event on the Maghreb/Mediterranean upstream and gas/LNG industry, and for shaping the future strategies of Governments and private/public corporate players.
During Luncheon a screening of the following Documentary will take place:
